What is and how do I know if my X5 has Self-Leveling Suspension? Self-Leveling Suspension is bring the vehicle ride height at the rear axle back to the target level if the load changes. The self-leveling suspension works by feeding or extracting air into or out of the bellows. All 4.8i have self-leveling and if you have a 3.0 with 3rd row you will have self-leveling as well.

Install Note:

• After fitting the Lowering Springs, allow a 500-mile or 2-week break-in period for optimal settling and achieving our specified lowering rate. The lowering rates mentioned are tested, using the OEM shocks
• Some applications may need bump stop trimming for complete shock travel.
• Spring rates and drop amounts may differ depending on vehicle application and chassis loads.
