Silicone hose water permeation rate is 10 to 15 times greater than standard EPDM rubber hose. Checking water level regularly is highly recommended when silicone coolant hoses are used in a daily driving vehicle.
Description & Feature
HPS high temperature 3-ply reinforced silicone radiator and ancillary coolant hose kit (part number 57-1476) replaces 2006-2008 Volkswagen GTI 2.0T Turbo FSI Left Hand Drive stock OEM rubber lower and upper radiator hoses, ancillary coolant hoses with high-heat resistance material which meets or exceeds OE specifications (Maximum temperature rating: 350F).
- Material: 3-Ply Reinforced Silicone
- Ideal replacement and durable upgrade for OEM rubber radiator and ancillary hoses which weaken and fail over time.
- Withstands harsh high temperature and high pressure operating conditions that range from daily driving to competition off-roading. Max. temperature rating: 350F (177C).
- Includes HPS 100% stainless steel industrial grade embossed hose clamps which will not cut through silicone hoses.
- Engineered to ensure long lasting quality over stock rubber hoses.
