Built for Mazdaspeed turbo models with notoriously tight engine bays, our new SL-Core (“Super Light”) radiator maximizes heat-exchanger size without relocating the factory radiator fans. By maintaining OEM clearances and adopting a tighter fin pitch on a slightly thinner core, it delivers efficient cooling gains where space is at a premium.

If you’re chasing 350+ hp in a dedicated track build, this isn’t the solution. But for street driving and occasional HPDE, the SL-Core provides more than enough thermal headroom.

Effective cooling is critical under sustained high load and RPM—exactly where heat skyrockets and your cooling system is most stressed. That’s why Megan Racing radiators are fully aluminum—tanks and core—for durability far beyond the aging plastic tanks found on many OEM units. The larger heat-exchange core improves heat transfer and increases total coolant capacity to help stabilize temps.

Designed as a direct, bolt-on upgrade, it works with factory mounts, fans, and A/C condenser. Due to the slight overall size increase, we recommend high-capacity slim fans for the best fit and performance.
