Q: Will car-specific seat brackets work on any seat I want to put in my car?
A: No, because while a car-specific seat bracket matches your factory bracket bolt pattern, it won't necessarily match on the 'top' of the bracket to the seat mount on the bottom of every racing seat. Generally, though, there are several ways to get around this problem. Also, often seat manufacturers manufacture a seat bracket application.
